Can I change my bank account details?

If you change your banking details (bank or building society account), you will need to inform Pensions Payroll so that they can continue to pay your monthly pension to you.  For security reasons this information cannot be taken over the telephone or by e-mail, as your signature is required.  Remember to quote your pay number and sign any notification.  Make sure that the sort code and bank account details are correct before sending them to us.  Ask your bank to check the details if you are unsure.

Please note that payments cannot be paid into the same account as Government benefits (state pension) at the Post Office.
