Retiring Member Pack introduced for all members retiring from 01/04/2010
14:10, 15 Apr 2010If you are an active member of the Nottinghamshire Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and you are retiring on or after 01/04/2010, for one of the following reasons:
- voluntarily from age 60
- normal retirement at age 65, or thereafter
then you will be provided with the retiring members pack by your line manager.
However, if you are retiring with effect from 01/04/2010 on one of the following grounds of early retirement:
- ill Health Retirement
- redundancy
- efficiency
- voluntary with employer's consent
- flexible retirement with employer's consent
then your employer's Human Resources section will provide you with the retiring members pack.
The retiring pack consists of a guide and an application form, which will need to be completed and sent to the Pensions Office to apply for your retirement benefits.
