The situation surrounding COVID 19 is affecting everyone and we wanted to assure you that we are doing all we can in these challenging times

Your LGPS benefits

Your benefits in the LGPS are Guaranteed and set out by government regulations. Although the current news headlines about the turbulence in the world stock markets are unsettling, they won’t affect your LGPS pension benefits.

 

The Pension Fund would like to assure you that we are doing everything we can to minimise the disruption to the service whilst protecting the health and wellbeing of our pensions staff and Pension Fund Members.

Though the Fund has put in place measures to ensure we can continue to pay pensions and administer the scheme during this difficult time, our normal working practices have been disrupted and inevitably we will not be able to respond to some enquiries from members as quickly as we would like to.

Contacting the Pension Fund

Due to the fact that the Pension Team are now working away from the Pension Fund Offices, you will not be able to make personal visits to us for the forseable future.

The answer to most queries in relation to your pension can be found on the website.

Please be aware though that its your responsibility to ensure that any personal data is sent securely.

Whilst we are still accepting mail, to our postal address below, we are expecting delays in the normal processing of mailed communications.
